Children & families

When a young voice is still finding its way.

First words, understanding, or play feel delayed

You do not have to wait and wonder. Birth–3 parent coaching weaves communication into meals, baths, books, and goodnights.

Early intervention

Birth–3 support is changing toward preschool or school

The child is still the same. The season is changing. ROSE can keep walking with you as private therapy, parent coaching, and collaboration—not a state EI contract, and not a school-based contract.

Turning three

Language is hard to understand or hard to use

Following a direction, telling what happened, or joining the table can all be language. Support is available beyond the toddler years too.

Speech is hard for others to understand

Families should not have to translate every sentence. Articulation and phonological support aims at being understood in real conversations.

Stuttering or cluttering is getting in the way

Fluency support aims at confidence, ease, and self-advocacy—not a demand for perfect speech. Children and adults are both welcome.

Therapy starts with how this child already communicates. ROSE does not diagnose autism.

Gestures, signs, pictures, and speech-generating devices are a voice—not a last resort.

Identity, self-advocacy, fluency, AAC, and classroom talk can all be part of the work. Therapy stays respectful of the young person in the chair.

School meetings feel heavy to carry alone

With a signed release, ROSE can review IEP or IFSP information and share progress in everyday language. That is collaboration, not a school-based contract.

Feeding therapy is a hoped-for future offering, not a service ROSE provides today. Current work is communication: speech, language, AAC, fluency, voice, and adult neurological rehabilitation.
ROSE does not diagnose autism, or replace medical care after stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's disease, or dementia-related change.
School work is collaboration with the team you already have—not a school-based contract.
