Current offerings, named for this age.

R.O.S.E. does not invent a separate teen clinic. Fluency, speech sounds, language, autism communication, AAC, and school collaboration are already part of the work. This page is the doorway that treats adolescence as its own season.

Fluency

Stuttering or cluttering can get in the way of being heard at school, at work, and with friends. Therapy aims at confidence, ease, and self-advocacy—not a demand for perfect speech.

When speech is hard for others to understand, a teen should not have to rely on a parent to translate. Articulation and phonological support aims at real conversations.

Understanding, using words, telling what happened, and joining a conversation can all be language. Goals belong in the classroom, at the table, and in the life this young person already has.

Social communication support starts with how this person already communicates. Therapy stays respectful of the young person in the chair. R.O.S.E. does not diagnose autism.

Gestures, signs, pictures, and speech-generating devices are a voice for today—not a last resort, and not only for young children.

IEP & self-advocacy

With a signed release, R.O.S.E. can help carry goals between school and home in everyday language. That is collaboration, not a school-based contract. IEP meeting participation is separately billable.

Respect for the person in the chair.

The young person in the chair is the client. We agree together who is in the room.
Goals are named with the teen whenever that is possible—not only with the adults beside them.
Identity and self-advocacy belong in the work: classroom talk, friendships, and being heard without performing someone else's script.
Home practice stays short and kind. A teen should not become a second job for a parent, or a drill for themselves.

R.O.S.E. does not diagnose autism, and does not replace the school SLP or IEP team you already have.
School work is collaboration—not a school-based contract. IEP meeting participation is a separately billable professional service.
Feeding therapy is a hoped-for future offering, not part of the current hour.

A conversation is enough

The teen can be part of the first call.

You do not need a school referral to start. Fees are named before evaluation or therapy begins. If another path is a better fit, J'Vohnne will say so.
